Youth Empowering Students (YES) is a group of high school students who come together weekly after school to celebrate unity and community service. At YES meetings student collectively discuss the needs of their communities and the ways they can take action together to meet those needs. The youth involved in YES develop workshops, curriculum, and initiatives that sanction inclusion as well as communal reflection.
