Conference Supporting Transgender & Gender Nonconforming Youth

Registration is now open for the 2nd Biennial Conference Supporting Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Youth. Sponsored by the Dane County Children, Youth and Families Consortium, this conference will take place on Friday, October 19, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the American Family Insurance Corporate Training Office, 6000 American Parkway, Madison.

Increase your understanding about the lives and needs of transgender and gender nonconforming youth and their families.  Leave with best practices in creating safer environments for all youth.

Conference will include:

  • An overview of terminology and basic issues facing this population.
  • Workshops for mental health and medical health professionals, educators, social workers, and other adults working professionally with youth.
  • A youth panel and parent panel.

This conference is open to all community service providers and interested community members.
