GSAFE Accepting Nominations for 2014 Educator of the Year and Judi Devereux Community Activist Awards

Nominate someone today for the 2014 Educator of the Year or Judi Devereux Community Activist Award

Lisa K at COLGay Straight Alliance for Safe Schools (GSAFE) is currently seeking nominations for the 2014 Educator of the Year and Judi Devereux Community Activist awards.  The awards will be presented at the 18th annual Celebration of Leadership on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Monona Terrace in downtown Madison. Recipients of these awards will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting safe, respectful, and just schools for all, with an emphasis on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues (LGBT).  Awards are open to all Wisconsin activists and educators, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.
