Ready-Made Events for 2015-2016

Welcome to the new school year!  We can’t wait to connect with you all and hear about your plans for the 2015-2016 academic year.  Here are some dates you may want to mark on your calendar right now:

GSAFE’s Walk/Run/Eat for Safe Schools – Sunday, October 11th in Madison.  This is the 9th year that GSAFE will be holding our superhero-themed fun run.  You can read more about the event on the home page of the website, or check out this document to learn how GSAs can use this event to fundraise for their own club!

Fall GSA Conference – Saturday, November 7th or Saturday, November 14th in Madison.  We haven’t finalized the date for the Fall GSA Conference yet, so if one of these dates works better for you and your club please send an email to tim@gsafewi.org and let Tim know!

Safe Schools, Safe Communities 2016 – Friday, April 15th, 2016 at UW-Madison.  Our biennial educators’ conference will be held in Madison this year.  More information about this conference will be coming out in October.

We also updated our 2015-2016 Ready-Made Events document, so if you’re wondering when Day of Silence, Ally Week, and other big events are scheduled for, click here.

Good luck with the start of the new school year!
